Join the American Arbitration Association (AAA) as our Vice President & Controller and make your mark on a nationally recognized nonprofit leader. In this role, you'll drive financial excellence across our organization while shaping strategy at the highest level. As the Controller, you'll lead all accounting operations including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable oversight, payroll administration, and comprehensive financial reporting. Beyond maintaining impeccable GAAP compliance, you'll provide visionary leadership for international expansion and acquisition integration, build high-performance teams, and create a culture where financial precision meets innovation. Work Environment

Compensation
New York, NY: $180,000 – $200,000
This position is eligible for an annual performance-based incentive which targets 20% of base pay.

Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, complemented by CPA designation
+ 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading financial teams
+ Experience with international accounting and M&A integration preferred
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise systems (NetSuite, SAP)
+ Proven leadership ability in driving change initiatives and executing strategic financial vision
+ Exceptional communication skills across all levels – from board presentations to team coaching
