Vice President Liquidity Risk Management

The Liquidity Risk role is responsible for managing HSBC's liquidity risk exposure. It involves assessing and managing risks associated with HSBC’s ability to meet its financial obligations. This position resides within the broader Risk organisation.

As our Vice President Liquidity Risk Management you will:

Identify liquidity risk drivers, assess liquidity risk exposures and monitor liquidity limits.
Assess the regulatory liquidity risk requirements including LCR, NSFR, EPS and other internal liquidity stress testing
Perform sensitivity analysis to understand the impact of new trades / new products / assumption changes on the liquidity risk metrics.
Review and challenge the liquidity stress testing process including but not limited to the scenarios definitions that are chosen for the stress tests and assumptions made on liquidity risks of assets, liabilities, and off-balance sheet contingent liquidity exposures
Review/maintain the liquidity risk governance policies, limits/thresholds, procedures, standards, controls, and Contingent Funding Plans to ensure they are within the defined corporate standards and regulatory requirements
Review and challenge the 1LOD activities and the governance processes to ensure Liquidity Risk taken is in accordance with the approved Risk Appetite and that the proper risk management framework is deployed to measure, monitor, and control the risk consistent with overall enterprise risk management framework
Provide guidance on regulations related to Liquidity Risk Management issued by FRB, OCC, FDIC, SEC, FINRA, Basel Committee on Banking Supervision
Participate in data analysis and support material preparation for regulatory exams and ad hoc analysis including briefings to senior management on risk management issuesPartner with other functions (i.e., Treasury, Finance, Risk) and lines of businesses to leverage reports, processes and systems.

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $138,400.00 and $207,600.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
