What You'll Do

About this role:

The VP of Energized Services plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of all field operations of the Energized Services division and Operating Units (OpU’s) as relates to both identified Energized Transmission projects and all international electric power operations. 

 

Responsibilities

Establishes technical standards and proceduresDevelops estimates for large or complex projects.Creates functional strategies and specific objectives and develops budgets, policies and procedures to support the Energized Services.Tackles and resolves complex problems related to work planning, project execution and energized services. Maintains good relationships with internal and external clients, including representatives of the Owner, Engineering Firm, and OpU partners.Ensures that all work procedures are followed through in each OpU for identified projects and pro-actively develop subordinates to fulfill these requirements. Manages and oversees all project controls for identified energized projects.Responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring and quality review. Develops and recommends operations policy within the Energized Services Operations  Leads the team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Offers solutions to unique problems, develops implementation plans and establishes proper goals to demonstrate the effectiveness of revisedDefines and recommends objectives in each area of Operations.  Targets specific areas in which the organization may need to improve operational efficiency. Develops specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates. Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
