**ADP is hiring a VP, Strategy for our Employee Financial Services (EFS) division.**
The VP, Strategy is responsible for establishing and executing the strategic direction of the business inclusive of ADP Payment Solutions, Wisely and Global Payments. This leader will identify and address internal and external business impacts along with proactively identifying and solving the most complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business.
The individual will be a self-starter who serves as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and works collaboratively across functions (GPT, sales, marketing, finance, operations) and Business Units to execute on strategic plans. This person will also work diligently as an internal networker and executor to ensure all functions (legal, security, finance, product management, and product development) are engaged and aligned with the appropriate key performance indicators, deadlines, and deliverables to contribute to the overall success of EFS.
In this role, you will have a high-level accountability for developing and leading the implementation of strategic plans to drive product satisfaction, retention, outsourcing models and revenue growth for EFS. Where appropriate, you will lead negotiations on any new partnerships and/or vendor relationships. Heavy involvement in payment industry associations and knowledge of emerging trends in the payment ecosystem is critical for success. You will anticipate internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommend process, product or service improvements all which will contribute to the development of the EFS strategy. Leads multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Develop a comprehensive business strategy that will outline how to deepen and strategically expand the EFS business and grow revenue. This strategy will include a detailed analysis of the current state and the associated business impacts and provide an execution game plan.
Continually evaluate plan and current state to ensure effectiveness and make recommendations for under/over performance. Hold all Senior Leadership members accountable to meet strategic plan goals throughout the performance periods providing key metric analysis and potential action plans in order to recalibrate as needed.
Lead negotiations on all terms and final agreements with all new partners; including pricing, rules of engagement, sales targets, support, and marketing. Lead the development of any implementation, integration, marketing communications and business plans for new partners.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Requires BA/BS, MBA beneficial or equivalent in education and experience.
+ Deep knowledge of the payments industry or banking is required. Direct experience in payments industry associations is preferred.
+ Requires a minimum of 15 years relative experience, five years at a senior leadership level.
+ Prior experience developing and executing against strategic plans.
+ Heavy experience in data analytics and reporting in a fast-paced, consumer-centric organization.
+ Highly proficient in service and operations management.
+ Clear understanding of business process improvements, developing key metrics to support strategic plan, and ability to manage unit of work metrics to support headcount growth.
+ Experience within ADP’s ecosystem – sales, implementation, service and the interconnectedness to support growth and revenue objectives.
+ Negotiating - Helps convince target organizations to partner with ADP. Negotiates deal terms
+ Leadership - Leads internal due diligence efforts. Strong emphasis on matrix management skills.
+ Creative Problem Solving - Finds win-win opportunities for ADP and potential partners.
+ Analysis & solution development- Develops persuasive business cases.
+ Channel conflict resolution.
+ Communication & presentation - Has strong written, oral and presentation skills.
