Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and other procurement documentation. 2. Initiates purchasing process to maintain adequate supply levels. 3. Coordinate and perform the receipt, storage, and issue of warehouse items. 4. Coordinate and supervise the work of inmates assigned to the property area. Provide training on handling stock, record keeping, warehousing methods, and applicable policies and procedures. 5. Assist the warehouse supervisor with the preparation of specifications for commodities and equipment. 6. Inspect all incoming shipments to ensure required specifications are met. 7. Coordinate the preparation of emergency and spot requisition requests for local purchase of items. 8. Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed. **Education and Experience Requirements:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + A valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management. + The selected candidate must be approved for hire by ODRC and must maintain appropriate facility security clearance. + Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements.
