Responsibilities Spa Attendants are primarily responsible for ensuring quality guest service and the smooth operation of the locker room by greeting guests warmly, orienting them to the facilities, assigning lockers and guiding guests through the locker room and spa facilities and amenities. Also responsible for towel maintenance and cleanliness of the gyms, movement therapy studio, sports court, spinning room, indoor/outdoor tennis courts and indoor/outdoor swimming pools. and Locker Rooms areas. Operations: Attends to guest needs by ensuring that all supplies are available, facilities are kept clean and organized and are in safe working conditions at all times. This includes duties such as issuing lockers to guests in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring that guests are familiar with the locker room amenities, introducing guests to the opposite gender massage therapists, ensuring guests who are waiting for massages in the waiting area have been Greeted by their therapist, ensuring fresh fruit is available and the beverage bar is stocked and tidy, offering drinks to guests while they are in the spa lounge and or whirlpools. In the summer, duties also include monitoring the outdoor pool areas ensuring towels are picked up, cushions are out, umbrellas are put up, sunscreen and shower caps are available and all areas are tidy and neat in appearance. In addition, setting up the outdoor beverage bar and keeping it well stocked and neat throughout the day, stocking the water coolers in Gym 5 and fitness break room, bringing out water and other beverages and towel cart to the outdoor tennis courts, sweeping the outdoor tennis courts as directed and necessary and watering outdoor tennis courts as directed. Safety: Ensures guest safety through observations and instruction on the proper use of the facilities and assists guests as needed or requested (steam room, inhalation room, sauna, whirlpools etc. Cleanliness: Monitors whirlpools, sauna, steam rooms as well as general areas throughout the locker room and notifies management when facilities need servicing. Adheres to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents. Maintains order and cleanliness in the lower spa lobby area. Wipes down equipment in the gyms and Movement Therapy Studio. Inventory: Stocks towels throughout the Spa, all Gyms, sports court, spinning room, Movement Studio and pool areas. Qualifications Schedule: Weekend and evening availability needed. Mondays/Thursdays/Saturdays/Sundays- This position has a mix of mid and closing hours including evenings until 9:30pm. Experience: High school diploma preferred Effort: Work requires regular lifting of objects up to 25 lbs. Mental Exertion: Position does not require mental concentration. Shift: Typically works varied shifts or schedules. Environment: Typically works in an office or temperature-controlled environment. Noise/Hazards: Exposure to dust, fumes, heat or other environmental factors.
